The following cases were heard at Bromley and Bexley Magistrates’ Courts on Thursday, May 23, 2024:
SOPHIE SIQHOSANA, 27, of Hazel Road in Erith, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards a shop worker in Slade Green, Morrisons on August 9. Siqhosana was jailed for 28 days, told to pay £100 compensation and banned from the shop.
PATRICK ORMSBY, 21, of Hither Green, admitted stealing a hooded jacket from H&M in Lewisham on April 3. Ormsby was fined £50 and the jacket was recovered without damage.
CLOUDIO DEVITO, 38, of Garbles Close in Lewisham, admitted harassment against a woman by breaching a restraining order and harassment without violence against the same woman. Devito was jailed for six months. Magistrates said the offence was so serious that custody was necessary.
STEPHEN QUILTER, 48, of The Avenue in Bickley, admitted stealing food to the value of £149 from BP M&S store in Bromley. A warrant is out for Quilter’s arrest after he failed to answer to bail.
