Bluewater in Dartford is set to host a three-day food festival this bank holiday weekend with a line-up of celebrity chef masterclasses confirmed.
This bank holiday weekend from Saturday, May 25 – Monday, May 27, Bluewater Shopping Centre in Dartford wil be hosting its ‘Scrumptious Bluewater Food Festival‘ featuring a range of foodie themed classes along with an array of food vendors.
The event, taking place in Bluewater’s 12,000 sq ft outdoor event space outside the centre’s village, will see the Marquee transformed into a food-centric hub and has been hailed as one of the “biggest food festivals in the reigion.”
Food vendors will range from street food to sweet treats, with popular food names in attendance such as Pakistani street food company Baba Dhaba and Kent’s very own Whitstable Oyster Trading Company.
Alongside shopping and food, the event will also feature a line-up of celebrity chefs giving cookery classes on the main stage.
Some of the confirmed names include Great British Bake Off 2021 winner Giuseppe Dell’Anno, Kent-based writer and TV star Alex Hollywood, and cake designer to the stars and Great British Bake Off 2017 finalist, Steven Carter-Bailey.
There will also be an artisan market with selected wares and products including Turner’s Cider.
James Waugh, Centre Director at Bluewater, said: “We have already seen huge interest in our debut food festival following our two previous announcements, and we’ve been looking forward to sharing the full line-up with our guests. Now that tickets are available, we encourage our guests to secure them quickly for a chance to learn from the exciting line-up of professionals.
“We know that people are choosing to visit locations that offer them a wide range of experiences, from unique leisure concepts through to great food and drink. Scrumptious Food Festivals are experienced operators and, having seen their other food and drink events, we know we’re in for a fantastic food festival here next month.”
Lotte Duncan, food presenter, author, chef, and co-founder of Scrumptious Food Festivals, added: “We are delighted to announce the full celebrity line-up for the first ever Scrumptious Bluewater Food Festival, and we urge guests to book their tickets quickly! We’ve worked with these stars numerous times before so we can assure festival-goers that they’re in for some thrilling demonstrations.”
Tickets for the food festival can be purchased online for £3 for an adult with children under £18 admitted for free.
