A brand new music festival is coming to a park in Bexleyheath this summer, featuring Taylor Swift, Queen, Adele and ABBA tribute acts.

Rock and Pop The Park, a family-friendly music event produced by the creators of Rock and Pop The Mote in Maidstone, is taking to the stage at Danson Park.

From midday until 10.30pm on August 31, fans of Queen, Taylor Swift, Fleetwood Mac, Adele, The Killers, Katy Perry, Oasis, Duran Duran, and more are invited for a day of singing, dancing, and entertainment.

The festival also announced that the tribute act Re-Bjorn will be providing a true ABBA experience on the day.

As well as this, Rock and Pop The Park promises a free funfair for children, a food village offering different world cuisines, a children's circus school and other entertainment.

Chris Wright, the festival's Event Programmer, said: "We are so excited to bring this new show to Danson Park in August."

He added: "Having successfully run the original Rock and Pop The Mote in Maidstone for five years, we are looking forward to working with Bexleyheath council in bringing an amazing family event to the people of Bexleyheath and surrounding areas.

"These shows are fun, have an amazing vibe and cater for all with a little something for everyone."

General release tickets are on sale now, linked to on their Facebook page, with prices starting from £15.
