The following cases were heard at Bromley and Bexley Magistrates’ Courts on Monday, May 20, 2024:    

JAVARN SHIELDS, 22 of Bourneside Gardens in Beckenham, admitted criminal damage to a woman’s home on November 19 and then making a threatening phone call to her two days later. Shields was given a one-year community order and was fined £30. 

GARY RUBY, 49, of Holly Hill Road in Erith, admitted criminal damage at Bexleyheath Asda, using threatening/abusive words or behaviour, racially aggravated harassment, alarm or distress and threatening to burn a woman’s house down on April 25. Ruby was given a one-year community order and was banned from Bexleyheath Asda for one year. He was also told to pay £100 compensation. 

KYLE JOHNSON, 35, of Worcester Close in Penge, admitted failing to comply with sex offender register notification requirements on November 12 last year by not completing his annual notification. Johnson was fined £849. 

EMANUEL MLADEN, 45, of Church Hill in Eltham, admitted common assault against a bus driver in New Eltham on January 12 last year. Mladen was ordered to pay £300 compensation.
