A child has been taken to hospital after an incident in Elmers End.
The incident happened in Croydon Road near Long Lane just after 7pm today (May 15).
London Ambulance Service and an air ambulance attended and found a child injured.
They were taken to hospital for treatment where their condition is unknown.
The nature of the incident also remains unknown.
We have contacted Metropolitan Police and London Fire Brigade for further information.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 7:06pm today (May 15) to reports of an incident near Long Lane in Croydon.
“We sent resources to the scene including ambulance crews, a member of our Motorcycle Response Unit, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer.
"We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance.
“We treated a child at the scene before taking him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
