The best walks in Greenwich with a pub stop
New Charlton to Greenwich Pier
Difficulty: Easy
Rating: 4.3
The walk reaches 7.9km and takes an average of 1 hour 38 minutes to finish in full.
Talking walkers from New Charlton all the way to Greenwich Pier, the route is popular among runners and walkers alike, as well as those keen to explore the region in general.
AllTrails suggests that the best time to do the walk is from January to October.
One recent walker shared: " I was amazed by the great view along the Thames River. I could not finish the entire path today as my energy ran out but I really look forward to finishing the rest of the path!"
Greenwich Observatory Trail
Difficulty: Moderate
Rating: 4.5
This walk stays in Greenwich over a 3.5km route that is "considered a moderately challenging route."
Altogether the walk takes around 45 minutes to complete and is regularly enjoyed by hikers, runners, walkers and more looking for some solitude.
The walk is best to be enjoyed from February to October.

One person who recently did the walk for themselves said: "Walked together with the routh of Greenwich-to-Limehouse that almost covered all of the attention of Greenwich. and have so nice view for sunny days."
Woolwich to Abbey Wood
Difficulty: Moderate
Rating: 4.2
This longer walk, reaches 12.2km point to point and takes on average around 3 hours and 6 minutes to complete.
The moderate route is a popular trail for hiking, running, walking and birding,
The Woolich to Abbey Wood route is open all year round and can be enjoyed at any time.
One hiker shared: "It was ok. A bit too much walking on the road for our liking but it was good."

Greenwich and Woolwich Circular
Difficulty: Moderate
Rating: 4.2
One of the more challenging routes, at a length of 43.9km, the route takes on average 9 hours and 30 minutes to complete.
Great for running or walking, the route lets you meet others while exploring and it's also open all year round.
Plus dogs are welcome, but they must be kept on a lead.
