The body of a man has been found in Northfleet.
Police have announced they are no longer appealing for information relating to a missing 66-year-old man who was last seen in Swanley on May 12.
Today (May 14), police discovered a body in Northfleet.
The death is not believed to be suspicious and a report has now been sent to the coroner.
Whilst formal identification of the body is yet to take place, his family have been informed.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said: "Kent Police is no longer appealing for information concerning a 66-year-old man who was last seen in Swanley on Sunday 12 May 2024.
"On Tuesday 14 May officers located the body of a man in Northfleet.
"While formal identification has not yet taken place, the family of the missing man have been notified.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner."
