A stunning pick-your-own peony farm just 90 minutes drive from south east London is opening this month.
Located in Bury Lane Farm in Royston, this stunning peony field offers visitors a chance to wander through rows of fragrant and colourful peonies and pick their own to curate their own peony bouquet.
The farm is within a 90-minute drive from south east London and is also accessible by train from Meldreth station.
Peonies usually flower between May and June, with the farm opening for a month during the height of the peony season, and flowers are sold by stem.
The business announced in an Instagram post that its popular peony field would be opening to the public from May 17 for a three-week period.
The farm will be open Monday – Saturday from 9am until 5pm, and 10:30am until 4:30pm on Sundays, and will be free to enter.
Visitors can bring their own scissors and pick their favourite blooms, with prices starting at £6.50 for five stems.
Dog owners can also bring their dogs for the day out, while the farm also features a soft play area and a beach for the children.
The farm features several acres of peonies in an array of colours and is known as a hot stop for Instagrammers.
