Police have released photos of a man they would like to speak to in relation to an incident of alleged kidnapping and blackmail.
Kent Police are investigating allegations that a man was assaulted and dragged from his vehicle in the village of Headcorn, Kent.
Detectives have now released CCTV images of a man who they believe could help their enquiries.
Kent Police said the man is believed to have connections to areas in south east London.
The allegations date back to Saturday April 17, 2021, when the victim had been travelling in a Ford Transit flatbed truck at around 2.15pm.
He was approached by two men in a car park near the Headcorn High Street.
He reported that he was punched in the face and pulled from his vehicle and then made to get into a car the suspects were in.
The victim was then driven to other locations, while the suspects are said to have made threats to him to hand over a separate vehicle he owned.
Anyone who recognises the man or has information that may assist the investigation is urged to call Kent Police on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/64688/21.
Kent Police arrested a suspect in connection with the incident on April 22.
Danny Frankham, aged 29, of Water Lane in Harrietsham, was charged with kidnap and two counts of blackmail.
He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on the following day and is currently remanded in custody.
