Police have been given extra powers in Catford this weekend to tackle “antisocial behaviour and criminality”.
A section 35 dispersal order has been put in place in the Catford Broadway area.
It will last from 4pm today (Friday, May 3) and last until Sunday, May 5 at 3pm.
The order was authorised by Inspector West to tackle crime from groups congregating in the area.

Lewisham MPS tweeted: “A section 35 has been put in place in the Catford Broadway area today Friday 3rd May at 4pm and ending Sunday 5th May at 3pm.

“Section 35 of the Anti-Social Behaviour Act provides police officers with discretionary powers to disperse individuals or groups causing, or likely to cause, harassment, alarm, or distress to others in your local area.”
