A brand new post office has opened in Bromley, giving residents access to its services seven days per week.
The post office will be based in Southborough Lane at Bickley Food and Wine and it will have a “modern, open-plan retail environment”.
This post office is set to be a replacement for Bickley Food and Wine which recently closed due to the resignation of the operator.
Since February 2024, Bickley Food and Wine has been a post office drop and collect store, however, it has now been made into a “modern, local style post office”.
From Monday to Saturday, the post office will be open from 7am – 7pm and on Sunday it will be open from 7am – 1pm giving customers 78 hours of post office access each week.
According to the Post Office, this is 14 hours and 30 minutes extra per week than had previously been provided.
A similar range of products and services will be available, excluding passport check and send and on demand travel money.
Noah Rai, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: “We are delighted to have restored a Post Office to this area of Bromley.
“It is open daily and it has convenient opening hours, making it easy for customers to visit.”
