Two roads in Chislehurst, including the busy high street, will be closed to traffic next month for a car show.
Bromley Council has given notice that the following roads will be closed to through traffic to enable the Chislehurst Car show:
· Chislehurst High Street - between its junction with Willow Grove and its junction with Centre Common Road.
· Ashfield Road - between its junction with Chislehurst High Street and the mini roundabout junction with Loop Road
The Order will come into effect at 7.30am on Sunday, May 12, 2024, and will end at 5.30pm.
It will only be in effect when traffic signs, as specified by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016, say so.
This order won't stop people from walking to any buildings next to or on the roads affected.
Access to homes will be maintained as far as practical; emergency routes will always stay open.
