Throughout this week, there will be closures affecting the Dartford Crossing tunnels.
The Northbound East Tunnel will be closed from today (April 15) to Friday and Sunday to next Monday, while the Northbound West Tunnel will be closed from 10pm on Saturday until 5am on Sunday.
The Dartford Crossing, linking Dartford in Kent and Thurrock in Essex, is a vital road crossing over the River Thames.
It consists of two tunnels and a bridge, serving as a transport route for 160,000 vehicles daily.
