Motorists were urged to “avoid” the M25 near the Dartford Crossing after a “serious” crash involving a car and a motorcycle.
The incident happened near the M25 anti-clockwise exit slip road at J30 near Lakeside just after midnight today (April 15).
All lanes on the slip road were shut and there was no access to the A13 westbound for M25 clockwise traffic for around nine hours.
UPDATE - All slip roads off and on to the #M25 J30 roundabout have reopened following the earlier incident.

These restrictions have since been lifted, however one of three lanes remain closed for final clearance works.
National Highways has urged motorists to allow plenty of time travelling in the area as there are still long delays anti-clockwise.
It also added that the closures are likely to be in place throughout the morning due to the nature of the incident.
There is no expected reopening time as police investigations into the crash is ongoing.
It is unknown whether anyone was injured following the incident.
We have contacted Essex Police and East of England Ambulance Service for further information.
