The M25 in Essex near the Dartford Crossing was closed for around nine hours due to a “serious” crash.
The M25 anti-clockwise exit slip road at J30 near Lakeside was closed just after midnight today (April 15).
Two of the three lanes on the slip road have since reopened, but according to National Highways (@HighwaysEAST) there are still delays of around 15 minutes anti-clockwise and the agency urged motorists on X (formerly known as Twitter) to allow plenty of time travelling in the area.

The incident caused miles of congestion on approach and long delays in the area, according to AA.
We have contacted Essex Police and East of England Ambulance Service for further information.
The full AA maps statement says: "Long delays and one lane closed due to crash investigation work on A13 at the M25 J30 (Lakeside / Purfleet).
"Congestion to traffic diverting through Purfleet, and anticlockwise on the M25 towards J29 Romford. The A13 and M25 are both fine across the junction."
