A suspect remains on the loose as no one has been arrested after a boy, 17, was stabbed multiple times in south east London.
Emergency services were called to St James’s Road at around 11.11pm on Wednesday (April 10) where they found a boy with multiple stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital where his condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
A crime scene was put in place between Esmeralda Road and Alexis Street which was removed shortly before midnight yesterday (Thursday, April 11)
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting the reference CAD 8162/10APR.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at about 23:22hrs on Wednesday, 10 April to reports of a stabbing on St James’s Road, SE16.
“Officers attended along with colleagues from the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and found a 17-year-old male with multiple stab wounds.
“The male was taken to hospital by LAS where he remains. Further details on his condition await.
“There have been no arrests at this time and enquiries continue.
“A crime scene remains in place.
“Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference CAD 8162/10APR.”
