Two women tried to steal jewellery from a woman in her 80s who had fallen over.
The pensioner was walking along a pedestrianised section of Windmill Street in Gravesend when she fell at around around 11.30am on Monday, March 25.
While she was on the ground it is alleged that two women tried to steal her jewellery.
The elderly woman cried out and the women left the scene empty handed.
Kent Police said the suspects are described as being aged in their 30s, around five feet tall and with dark-coloured hair.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to contact police, while residents or businesses with private CCTV are also asked to check for relevant footage.
