Here is a sneak peek of the dinosaurs that are set to storm Danson Park at the end of this Spring season.
The park in Bexley will become a prehistoric paradise with 40 life-sized, realistic animatronic dinosaurs.
Some pictures from last year’s events in Plymouth, Manchester and Cardiff hope to give an indication of what to expect at Danson Park.
The walk-through Dinosaurs in the Park experience will display creatures from the Jurassic, Triassic and Cretaceous periods.
The park will be filled with classic favourites such as the Stegosaurus, Triceratops and Velociraptor, as well as the lesser-known Dilophosaurus, Kentrosaurus and Hypacrosaurus.
The animatronics move their heads, jaws, and claws and even hiss, snarl, and growl.
For those with sensory sensitivities, there are quiet sessions available too.
A plaque displaying interesting dinosaur facts will be positioned next to each model, promoting a fun and educational experience.
The dinosaurs will be located along accessible pathways and even lawns and so it is ideal for wheelchair users or families with pushchairs.
Meals will be available at the food court or bring your own meals for a picnic as there's plenty of space available for tables, chairs, and blankets.
After the trial there is a fun zone packed with hands-on activities that are all part of the ticket package.
This includes exciting Dino excavation digs, mini golf, the Dino kingdom bouncy castle and the mini soft play area designed for those under three years old.
You can also get creative in the Designasaurus studio where you can craft your very own dinosaur and see it spring to life on the screen.
Visit the Palaeontologist tent to unearth fossils, examine dinosaur dung, and discover fascinating facts.
For those seeking extra thrills, there are children's fun fair rides available at an additional cost per ride.
The event tickets start at £7.20 per person and free for children under three.
Dinosaurs in the Park runs from May 18 to June 9 at Danson Park in Bexley and tickets are available now via the website.
Tickets booked any time after 3pm will receive a 20 per cent discount.
The event will remain closed on May 20, 21, 22 and June 3, 4, 5.
