A 31-year-old woman who was stabbed to death in Hither Green has been named for the first time.
Court documents name Zhe Weng as the woman who was killed on Manor Park on Wednesday (March 20).
Joshua Michals, 24, of Deals Gateway in Deptford, has been charged with her murder.
An investigation was launched after police were called just before 11.15pm to reports of a stabbing.
Emergency services attended and forced entry to the address.
A 31-year-old woman was found injured inside.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, she died at the scene a short time later.
Her next of kin have been informed and they will be supported by family liaison officers.
Formal identification has not yet taken place.
