There has been a crash involving a light goods vehicle and a van close to the Dartford Crossing this morning.
Essex Police flagged the crash to National Highways today (Thursday) at 7.15am.
The incident happened close to where the tunnels join on the M25, around J31 anti-clockwise.
There was severe delays and traffic in both tunnels were temporarily held while officers dealt with the incident.
There has been no reports of any injuries, and all traffic was flowing again by 7.56am.
A spokesperson for National Highways said: “Two vehicle RTC involving a light goods vehicle and a van – no reports of any injuries but you’ll need to check that with the police.
“Essex Police initially flagged the collision and we arrived at the scene at 7.15am. “Ambulance also attended.
“Location was close to where the tunnels join the M25 around J31 anti-clockwise.
“Traffic in both tunnels was temporarily held while the collision was removed.
“All traffic flowing again by 7.56am.”
