A man has been taken to hospital after a fire at a two-storey block of flats in Chislehurst.
Firefighters were called to the fire on Mill Place on Sunday (March 17) just after 3pm.
Most of a ground floor flat was damaged by fire.
One man was rescued from the flat before firefighters arrived and taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
The fire was extinguished by 4.08pm.
Three fire engines from Bromley, Sidcup and Eltham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Firefighters tackled a fire at a two-storey block of flats on Mill Place in Chislehurst on Sunday (17 March).
“Most of a ground floor flat was damaged by fire.
“One man was rescued from the flat before firefighters arrived and taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
“The Brigade was called at 1506 and the fire was extinguished by 1608.
“Three fire engines from Bromley, Sidcup and Eltham fire stations attended the scene.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
