THE club has been enjoying an eventful summer.
Members were taken Around the World in a Double Decker Bus by Richard King, who gave a hilarious account of the adventures he and his friends encountered during this three-year trip.
Joe Dyson explained how he had come to be Chauffeured by the High and Mighty, and James Hay provided An Evening of Song and Mayhem with his entertaining one-man-show Hayfever.
These events took place at St Mark's Church Hall, Braemar Gardens, West Wickham, where the club's meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month between 2.30pm and 4.30pm and on the first and third Thursday from 8pm until 10pm.
The club celebrated its 54th birthday on July 31.
Members have also enjoyed an Isle of Man holiday, two coach trips, a visit to St Pancras and an afternoon concert with strawberry tea.
Over-45s are welcome to join in with meetings and other activities, such as short mat bowls, table tennis, canasta, outings, lunches and holidays.
