New Government data released has revealed the Bromley roads with the longest delay times for drivers in 2023.
Data recorded from the years of 2019 to 2023 revealed the roads in the UK with the longest and shortest wait times calculated by seconds per vehicle mile, equating the seconds a motorist was held up for each mile travelled.
Data revealed that the road with the longest wait times in Bromley in 2023 was the A2015 linking Catford to Beckenham, where motorists waited an average of 140 seconds per vehicle mile.
This was followed by the A223, which links Sidcup to Dartford, where drivers waited an average of 137.3 seconds per vehicle mile, followed by the A234 between Beckenham and Crystal Palace, where motorists waited an average of 133.7 seconds per vehicle mile.
The road with the shortest wait times for drivers was the A20, where drivers waited an average of 19.6 seconds per vehicle mile.
