FIRE crews spent more than four hours battling a factory blaze in the early hours of this morning (August 2).
Crews from Bexley fire station were called to the Crayford Industrial Estate, Swaisland Lane, at around 12.40am after reports of a fire in unit 22.
Firemen wore breathing apparatus to battle the flames after reports of chemicals in the factory.
They finally left the scene at around 5am.
No-one was hurt in the fire although the Metcraft Finished Products factory is believed to have suffered substantial fire and smoke damage.
