BROMLEY residents find it harder to get an NHS dentist appointment compared with residents in other areas of the country.
According to the Healthcare Commission, Bromley PCT is among the 30 worst trusts out of 152 in England and Wales for ease of getting access to dental care.
But Bromley PCT fared well overall in the nation-wide survey of 69,000 people which asked a range of questions about GP practices and health centre facilities.
Most of the 503 respondents in Bromley were particularly positive about being able to book GP appointments in advance, understanding doctors explanations and the information on taking medicine.
The other area which patients were not happy about was the amount of time they had to wait to be seen after their appointment time.
