A Metropolitan Police officer was caught with crystal meth and a pipe in a home raid.
Detective Constable Dino Atkins-Tyler's home in Kent was raided on September 30 last year.
A white substance alongside a burnt pipe were found. He resides at the home on his own.
DC Atkins-Tyler was subsequently arrested for possession of a Class A drug.
Forensic analysis later revealed that the white substance was crystal meth.
On February 6 he appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court where he pleaded guilty to Possession of Class A drug.
He was given a conditional discharge for three months and told to pay a £116 victim surcharge.
DC Atkins-Tyler will now face a Met Police misconduct hearing on March 7.
