A PRE-SCHOOL has been rated "outstanding" in an Ofsted report.
Crofton Early Learners, based at Crofton Baptist Church, Crofton Lane, Orpington, was found to be outstanding in all aspects of childcare.
In its last inspection three years ago, the school was judged to be "good".
This time the report gave no recommendations for improvement because the quality and standards of care, nursery education and organisation were "outstanding".
The pre-school, which has been running for almost 30 years, has 47 children attending, aged between two-and-a-half and four years old.
School leader Virginia Brown said: "It's quite rare for pre-schools to get an 'outstanding' report."
