FIREFIGHTERS spent nearly two hours putting out a house fire.
The fire occurred in Windsor Road, Gravesend, just after midnight (August 1).
Six fire appliances from Dartford, Thames-side, Strood and Medway attended the scene and put the fire out by 2am.
Crew manager of Thames-side fire station Sheridan Murray said: "It was a large detached house with a loft conversion.
"It was a very smoky intense fire."
Nobody was in the house at the time of the fire.
An investigation is now under way to determine the cause.
