CROWDS of people turned up to enjoy the fine weather at a recent pre-school fun day.
Around 70 people attended the annual event held at Hextable Village Pre-School, in Row Hill Road, Hextable.
The event took place on July 23 and included face painting, a bouncy castle, cake stalls and a bagpipe player.
Organiser and vice chairman of the pre-school committee, Jane Howard said: "Each year we try to hold a fun day and this year was particularly successful with a large turn out of people.
"I think that the weather helped because it was a glorious day.
"The fun day is a two fold event, for the children it's an end term activity and it's also a fundraiser event to help generate money for new equipment for the school."
