CHILDREN will have the chance to create works of art during a council's summer activities programme.
Sevenoaks District Council's In the Zone programme offers activities from 11am to 3.30pm every weekday throughout the summer holidays.
Next week is Make It Week, with youngsters being shown how to create art from recycled material.
On August 4, the programme will be at The Minnis in New Ash Green, while on August 7 it will be at the Swanley Recreation Ground, in St Mary's Road.
Council cabinet member with responsibility for young people's issues Councillor Elaine Bracken said: "Make It Week is a chance to show off your artistic side and have fun at the same time, all for free."
All activities are supervised by trained council staff.
