HOME owners in Bromley were among the worst affected by house price changes in the capital last month.
Statistics from the Government's Land Registry show property in Bromley borough lost, on average, 1.6 per cent of its value in June.
It was home to the second most severe price drops in London, behind Hammersmith and Fulham's 2.7 per cent fall.
Average house prices in Bromley borough now stand at £306,222.
Across the capital, the average house price fell by 2.5 per cent last month.
The Land Registry report states: "This month's 2.5 per cent fall in London house prices is greater than the average for the country as a whole.
"During 2007, London experienced above average price growth. However, the monthly price changes for the last five months show growth rates falling to more modest levels.
"The average property price in London is currently £345,136,in comparison to England and Wales as a whole, which has an average of £180,781."
The borough with the highest monthly price increase was Kensington and Chelsea with a rise of 1.1 per cent to an average of £876,546.
