VISITORS to their neighbourhood library have been enjoying some stunning pictures taken by a photographic group.
It is the second time Sidcup Library, in Hadlow Road, has hosted an exhibition of work from the group for adults with learning disabilities based at the Carlton Resource Centre, in nearby Carlton Road.
The group meets up at the centre every Friday and, using public transport, travels to a variety of places to take photographs.
Using digital cameras and computer software, the members then experiment with editing techniques to achieve the desired effects.
The group has displayed its work online on American website photolaureates.com A photograph taken by Mark Stanton has also been chosen to appear in The Anthology of Photographs 2008, which includes the best pictures from the website.
