A man who raped a woman twice is on the run from prison after he was temporarily released.
Wayne Campbell, 42, raped a woman twice and then strangled her until she lost consciousness.
In 2015 he was jailed for 12 years for rape and ABH.
On Saturday (February 17) at around 7.30pm he was reported as missing after he absconded while on temporary release from HMP Sollesley Bay in Suffolk.
Campbell has links to London, particularly Edmonton, where he previously lived.
He is described as Black, 6ft2inches tall and of a heavy build.
Suffolk Constabulary are asking anyone who may have seen him or anyone with information about where he is to contact police on 101.
But the force warned people not to approach him.
In 2015 Kent Online reported that Campbell, a homeless drug addict, raped a woman who took pity on him after he was thrown out his lover’s home in Ashford.
