A male has been arrested after drugs, cash and fraudulent documents have been found in south east London.
Police were patrolling a housing estate in Lambeth, SE24, when they noticed a male reportedly behaving suspiciously and evasive towards officers.
Police stopped and spoke to the male.
A search of this person allegedly revealed drugs and a large amount of cash.
A further search of his home address allegedly revealed even more drugs and fraudulent documents, according to Lambeth Police.
The male was arrested on suspicion of fraud and on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A and Class B drugs.
A spokesperson for Lambeth Police said: “During routine patrols in a housing estate in SE24, officers from your local Safer Neighbourhoods Team noticed a male behaving suspiciously and evasive towards officers.
“The male was stopped and spoken to.
“A search of this person revealed drugs and a large amount of cash.
“A further search of his home address revealed even more drugs and fraudulent documents.
“The male was subsequently arrested for fraud and for being concerned in the supply of Class A and Class B drugs.”
