Two people have been arrested after a police drone tracked down a stolen caravan in Dartford - 200 miles away from where it was taken from.
The vehicle was taken from a farmyard in Cheshire and was located by Kent Police’s Rural Task Force in in Darenth Wood Road, Dartford.
The caravan was reported as stolen on Saturday, February 3 and officers received information that it had entered Kent by the following weekend.
On Saturday, February 10, an officer deployed a drone to help view possible locations where it may be parked.
Patrols went to Darenth Wood Road and arrested a 23-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman on suspicion of handling stolen goods and theft.
The suspects have since been bailed until Wednesday, May 8, while enquiries continue.
