Children from Crofton Early Learners, which received an outstanding report by OFSTED
A PRE-SCHOOL has been given an outstanding report by school inspectors.
Crofton Early Learners, based at Crofton Baptist Church, Crofton Lane, Orpington, was found to be outstanding in all aspects of childcare by OFSTED, an independent school inspectorate that visits schools every three years.
In its last inspection, the school was judged to be good.
Inspection judgments can be outstanding, good, satisfactory or inadequate.
The school, which has been running for almost 30 years, has 47 children, aged between two-and-a-half and four years old.
The school's leader, Virginia Brown, said: "We are extremely pleased to get an outstanding report.
"It's quite rare for pre-schools to get outstanding."
