Gallions Housing Association won two awards at the 4th London Excellence Awards held in London on Monday 21 July.
Gallions Housing Association, who currently owns and manages 5,543 homes in Bexley, Greenwich and Bromley, topped both the Leadership and Making Partnership Work categories.
Gallions was commended for its visionary and inspirational leadership as well as for achieving fantastic business results through an exceptional partnership with Axis; Gallions and Axis became partners in 2002 when Axis was chosen to manage the association's repairs and maintenance service.
Gallion's Chief Executive, Tony Cotter said: "Our partnership with Axis continues to go from strength to strength. Our teams have worked closely together to gain better efficiency results and our residents are extremely pleased with the service as a result. It is great to be recognised for the work we have all done...The leadership award is a fantastic indication that we're heading in the right direction."
Axis Chief Executive, John Hayes said: "This is testament to the hard work and effort that both Gallions and Axis staff have put in to make this partnership the success we see today. Working in an open and honest way with teams are passionate about what they do - it's a formula for great partnership working."
