A male has been taken to hospital after falling unwell in Greenwich.

Emergency services were called to Georgette Place just before 8.30am today (February 14).

An ambulance crew, an incident response officer, and members of the Hazardous Area Response Team from London Ambulance Service also attended.

The male was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where his condition is unknown.

London Fire Brigade confirmed it attended the scene but the incident was over for its crews by 9.10am.

We have contacted the Metropolitan Police for further information.

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.24am today (14 February) to reports of an unwell person in Georgette Place, Greenwich.

“We sent an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and members of our Hazardous Area Response Team to the scene.

“We treated a patient at the scene and took him to hospital.”

A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Crews attended an incident led by the Metropolitan Police Service on Georgette Place in Greenwich.

“The Brigade was called at 0834 and the incident was over for firefighters at 0910.”
