PEOPLE of all ages have hit the dance floor as part of a national event.
A marquee was put up outside The Walnuts leisure centre in Lynchgate Road, Orpington, to host 1,500 dancers and spectators.
The event was organised as part of the Big Dance, a Government week-long initiative to get people active.
This saw events being held across the country to showcase different dance styles.
Acts in Orpington included a street dance performance by youngsters and a tap dancing group from charity Age Concern Bromley.
Orpington town centre management staff and leisure trust Bromley Mytime organised the free event.
Bromley Mytime brand manager Anna Doolan said: "The different types of dance, the music and the incredible range of talent of residents were outstanding.
"We felt very privileged to be part of such an outstanding nationwide event."
