The body of a man has been found at a golf club in Crayford.
The discovery was made by police at Barnehurst Golf Club this morning (February 12).
Officers were initially searching for a man yesterday evening (February 11) who was reported missing in Barnehurst.
The search was assisted by the police helicopter and London Fire Brigade’s drone unit.
The man’s next of kin have been informed.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “On the evening of Sunday, 11 February officers were involved in searching for a man who had been reported missing in the Barnehurst area.
“The search was assisted by the police helicopter and London Fire Brigade’s drone unit.
“On the morning of Monday, 12 February the body of a man was found at Barnehurst Golf Club.
“His next of kin have been informed."
