Sheep sex suspect barred from farmyards
A 26-year-old man has been bailed by police following allegations of sexual misconduct with a sheep in Chislehurst.
The man was arrested on July 17 at his home in Dulwich, where police also found a quantity of drugs and cash.
He was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs.
Police raided the man's home after his DNA was matched with a pair of grey jogging pants found at Tong's Farm in Botany Bay Lane, following reports of a man having sex with a sheep on June 9.
The man has been bailed to return to Bromley police on September 2, pending further investigation.
Under the terms of his bail conditions the man may not enter the London borough of Bromley or enter any farmyard area within the Metropolitan Police district.
Accused mother kept in custody
A 20-year-old Catford woman accused of causing the death of her newborn son must remain in prison custody ahead of her trial.
Leah Andrew, of Minard Road, fainted after giving evidence for six hours in a Crete courtroom, it has been reported.
Andrew, who has two other children, is charged with infanticide.
She is reported to have given birth in a hotel room in Malia on Monday.
It is understood a coroner found the child had died of asphyxiation.
Update: D-day for hospitals shake-up
A decision has been made by health chiefs on the future of hospitals in the area.
The joint committee of the primary care trusts for Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich and Lewisham met in London on Monday (July 21) to make its decision on the A Picture of Health proposals.
And it agreed with recommendations to approve an amended version of option two from the three original options put forward.
This will see Queen Mary's Hospital as the only major loser of the four hospitals involved.
The Sidcup hospital will lose all its emergency services, including A&E, maternity and in-patient children's services, but will become one of two centres for planned surgery.
Police seek limo driver in death crash inquiry
A limousine driver has been asked to help police investigating a fatal road crash.
Jennifer Allan, aged 22, of Sparepenny Lane, Farningham, died after her car hit a tree in Church Hill, Wilmington, shortly after midnight on July 6.
Investigators from Kent police's serious crash investigation unit would like to speak to a limo driver who is thought to have been in the area at the time.
