A 57-YEAR-OLD woman has died in hospital following a collision near the Blackwall Tunnel on Monday (July 21).
Three people were taken to hospital suffering serious injuries when a Honda Jazz was in collision with the rear of a Nissan Micra.
The accident happened on the northbound carriageway of the A102, near the Sun in the Sand round-about, at 10.50pm.
The 57-year-old woman - who died as a result of her injuries at the Royal London Hospital - has not been formally identified by police.
A post mortem examination will be conducted at Greenwich Mortuary on Monday (July 28).
A 14-year-old boy and a one-year-old baby are still in hospital with head injuries - which are serious but not life threatening.
The driver of the Honda did not suffer any injuries.
