IT began in a back garden but this year a festival started by youngsters is going big.
Leefest started two years ago in a parent's back garden. Live acts performed to swarms of young people.
Now the organisers, all under 21, have agreed with Bromley council they can hold it for 400 people in a field accessed from Hawksbrook Lane, Beckenham.
Taking place on August 30 from 2pm until 11pm, the festival is in need of sponsorship from local businesses.
All the money raised is going to Bromley Age Concern.
Most acts have already been booked up, with a mix of genres from jazz to indie bands.
One of the event organisers Lee Denny said: "Leefest is about a community getting together. It is a platform for local talent and is raising money for a local cause."
