A police investigation has been launched after two youths allegedly attacked another youth in Welling.
The incident happened in Elsa Road at the junction with Upper Wickham Lane at 3.35pm on January 29.
Officers attended and the victim was found uninjured at the scene.
It is believed that those involved in the incident had reportedly left before the arrival of the police.
No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: "We know the community will be extremely concerned by the shocking images circulating online.
"We share that concern and an investigation has been launched and is ongoing.”
The full statement from Metropolitan Police says: “Police were called at 15:35hrs on Monday, 29 January two youths attacking another youth in Elsa Road, junction with Upper Wickham Lane, Welling.
“All those involved had left prior to police arrival.
“The victim was found and thankfully he had not suffered any injuries.
“There have been no arrests at this time.”
