A man is in a critical condition after being stabbed and assaulted in Southall.
The incident happened in North Hyde Lane at around 1.30am today (January 31).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man injured.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains in a critical condition.
No arrests have been made as police enquires continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 01:30hrs on Wednesday, 31 January to reports of a man stabbed and assaulted in North Hyde Lane, Southall.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene.
“The victim – no further details – was taken to hospital for treatment; he remains there in a critical condition.
“No arrests; enquiries continue.
“A crime scene remains in place at the location.
“Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD326/31Jan.
“You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
