RESIDENTS can take a peek at the borough's most famous sites during open days being planned by the council.
Dartford Heritage Open Days take place from September 11 to September 14.
Visitors will have the chance to walk around and learn about the area's most treasured buildings.
This year's list includes Hawley Manor Dovecote and Ice House in Hawley Road, the Manor Gatehouse in Priory Road and the Acacia Mansion House in Dartford High Street.
There will also be a range of talks in Central Park, Brooklands Lakes, the Darent Valley Path and Swanscombe Heritage Park.
Council portfolio holder for culture and leisure Councillor Patsy Thurlow said: "There are some truly wonderful sites in the borough which are full of history.
"I hope many residents will take the opportunity to find out more about Dartford's heritage."
