A DONATION of new sports equipment has been donated to a school in Greenwich at its annual sports day.
Sports shop Sports Direct and shopping centre Greenwich Shopping Park, in Bugsbys Way, Greenwich, donated sports equipment worth over £100 to a school for its sports day, on July 17.
St. Josephs Junior and Infants Mixed School, in Commerell Street, Greenwich, received tennis rackets and footballs for use at the event.
And the equipment was presented to the school at the event by staff from the Sports Direct branch in Greenwich Shopping Centre.
A Greenwich Shopping Park spokesman said: "It's very important for us to support schools and to give something back to our community.
"And we're delighted to see Sports Direct getting involved at grass roots levels. "
