A SCHOOL'S summer fete, in Abbey Wood, attracted hundreds of people and was deemed a huge success.
De Lucy Primary School, in Cookhill Rd, attracted about 200 people to their summer fete, on July 11.
The fete included various activities, including a bouncy castle, assault course, a barbecue and a raffle which managed to raise about £1000 for a new sheltered area in the school's playground.
Members of the fire brigade and police also attended the event, as well as MP for Erith and Thamesmead John Austin.
Headteacher Linda Cohen said: "The day was an outstanding success and well done to all our children, staff and parents."
