A JAGUAR enthusiast got the chance to drive his car in an episode of Coronation Street.
Norman Hicks, aged 54 from Petts Wood, was contacted by the soap's producer who needed a specific type of Jaguar XJS for a new character.
Mr Hicks, a father of two, is the owner of a six-litre black convertible XJS, of which only 89 models have ever been made.
However the new female character cannot drive, meaning Mr Hicks, was dressed up as a woman and drove the car himself, with the cameras filming him from behind.
Mr Hicks, who is the forums manager of the Jaguar Enthusiast Club, said: "I loved it, I wanted to do it for the experience because I love camera work, and also for the club."
The episode will be broadcast on Monday (August 4).
