A GARDEN shed was destroyed when a bonfire got out of control in Biggin Hill.
The incident was one of three bonfires tackled by Biggin Hill's firefighters in a period of less than 12 hours.
The first was a bonfire - which had been started deliberately - in a field near Oaklands Road at about 7.30pm on Tuesday (July 22).
Later that night firefighters were called to an out of control bonfire fire in the garden of a house in Leaves Green Road.
Two brothers living in the house had built a bonfire next to the garden shed - which caught fire at 1am yesterday morning.
Then at 6.30am yesterday morning firefighters were called to a third bonfire in Single Street.
A spokesman for the fire brigade said: "The schools are off and now that the dry weather is here, we are bracing ourselves."
